Carriage Lights Installation
LED lighting is common for passenger wagons with little heat and low current requirements. We are able to install LED lighting into most items. A regulator is included to dim the lights to a suitable brightness. LED Strips (250mm) - $30.00, voltage regulator - $15, installation - $25.00, plugs and sockets are an extra - price on application. Starting from
$70.00
Decoder Installation
The price is the installation fee. Parts used, are charged for. Typically a Marklin loco requires an upgrade to a '5 pole motor', the parts package is about $50.00. We use either Marklin MFX or ESU M4 decoders. These decoders accept AC, DC, DCC, MM and MFX/M4 operating signals. While other decoders can be cheaper, we have found that over time cheaper decoders disappoint. Due to the lack of room it is typically not possible to fit in a decoder to a N or Z scale locomotive as major modification is required, when it is possible an addition cost of $40.00 is charged. $50.00
